Contractor Sales Representative
Do you have industry experience? Have you sold product to builders on job sites? We are always interested in individuals who have proven contractor sales experience. Our CSRs work with builders and general contractors to help build their customers' dreams. CSRs read blueprints, create material estimates, visit job sites, source product, and schedule deliveries. Our CSRs are also very involved with local home building associations; many of our salespeople serve in leadership positions within the association as well.
Yard Associates, Cashiers, Accounts Receivable Clerks
84 is always looking for bright, energetic individuals to help with the efficient running of our stores. We look for individuals who take pride in their work and accomplishments. Since each of our stores is unique in its own way, we do not always have the same positions available at every location.
84 Component Design and Manufacturing
Production Associates are responsible for building our roof and wall trusses as well as our wall panel assemblies. Associates are trained in production, quality control, logistics and safety. Associates are encouraged to move up quickly to positions of more responsibility such as crew leader, head sawyer, Production Manager and more. Preferred qualifications are a high school diploma and good math skills. No prior construction experience required; we'll train!
Designers are responsible for creating the drawings and load specifications to build our component products. Associates are encouraged to move up quickly to positions of more responsibility such as Designer I, II and III and Design Manager. Preferred qualifications are a two or four year degree with an emphasis on CADD.
Production Manager Trainees
Production Manager Trainees are responsible for building our roof and wall trusses as well as our wall panel assemblies. Associates are trained in production, quality control, logistics and safety. Associates are encouraged to move up quickly to positions of more responsibility such as Production.
installation experts install a variety of product from windows to insulation to interior trim packages. In addition, we sell and install weatherization products to ensure maximum energy efficiency and to help our builders achieve either LEED or NAHB standards for green construction.
Support positions are available at our Team Headquarters facilities located in Eighty Four, PA.
Inventory Managers work with a number of stores and component facilities to ensure they are in-stock and under budget. There is a ten-week training program with the position which includes six to eight weeks working in one of our 84 Lumber stores. Inventory Manager positions are comparable to our Manager Trainee positions in compensation and benefits. Preferred qualifications are a Bachelor's degree, excellent communication skills and the ability to perform complex analysis. Inventory Managers are generally promoted to other support departments such as Purchasing, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting and Merchandising.
We have a number of opportunities available in Administrative Support for our stores and component manufacturing facilities. Preferred qualifications for these positions vary based on the position available. Positions are often available in departments such as Purchasing, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting and Merchandising.
Our National, Government and International Divisions generally sell to a number of accounts. These accounts need to be managed with the utmost detail and precision to ensure orders are placed effectively and efficiently. Account Managers are appointed the responsibility to work with the account representatives daily and build relationships with customers.
