WHO: 84 Lumber, a proud, nationally certified women’s business enterprise, and the Pittsburgh Penguins are pleased to once again team up for their annual EmpowerHER Grant, which will be awarded to a Pittsburgh-area woman-owned business.
WHAT: Local, woman-owned Pittsburgh-area businesses can be nominated for the $25,000 grant. Nominations will be evaluated by a panel consisting of members from the Penguins and 84 Lumber. The top 3 finalists will then be announced to the public, allowing them to vote and determine the winner.
The EmpowerHER Grant is a part of 84 Lumber’s L.I.F.T. (Leading & Inspiring Females to Thrive) program with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
