84 Lumber Announces First Truss Plant in Virginia

EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. (July 26, 2017) – With more than 80 percent of new residential construction making use of trusses, according to Networx, production needs have skyrocketed.  84 Lumber, which specializes in developing and customizing trusses, will service this need with its newest truss plant in Winchester, Virginia. 

With more than 32,000 square feet, this location expands 84 Lumber’s presence throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, building upon an existing footprint which includes retail locations in Martinsburg, Ranson, and Front Royal. The new truss plant will be the first 84 Lumber location of its kind in the state.

 Located at 240 Yardmaster Court, Stephenson, Virginia, 22656, the truss plant will take advantage of 84 Lumber’s more than 30 years of specialized experience. The company will leverage the latest design software, computerized saws, and specialized jigging equipment to produce high quality trusses for buildings of all sizes. 

84 Lumber will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Winchester location on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
