84 Lumber Opens First Store in Boston as New England Footprint Continues to Grow
EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. (May 1, 2017) - 84 Lumber has served as the leading building materials supplier to residential and commercial builders for 61 years. But in recent years, the company has experienced a powerful resurgence as the housing industry recovers at a rapid pace. To support this growth, the company is opening its first-ever store in Boston with its location in Holbrook. This will be 84 Lumber’s second store in Massachusetts with an existing location in West Springfield.
The showroom will be fully equipped and designed to serve residential and commercial contractors as well as DIY home renovators in their respective regions. Customers can collaborate with 84 Lumber associates to bring their vision to life through 84 Lumber’s Kitchen & Bath Design Studio, custom millwork, and engineered wood products.
“With the opening of this store, we’re not only expanding our footprint but also building new relationships with customers throughout Boston, Cape Cod and Providence,” said Frank Cicero, 84 Lumber’s chief operating officer. “We’re looking forward to leveraging Holbrook as a cornerstone to support our customers throughout New England.”
84 Lumber will hold a grand opening celebration for its Holbrook store, located at 54 High St, Holbrook, MA 02343, from Thursday, May 11 through Saturday, May 13. The company will begin the celebration with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 11 at 5:00 p.m. HGTV’s Going Yard hosts, Chris and Peyton Lambton, will attend the store’s open house which begins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13.
