EIGHTY FOUR, PA. (December 21, 2020) – 84 Lumber, the nation’s largest privately-held building materials supplier, is announcing the opening of its newest door shop in Dallas. The new shop, located at 3625 La Reunion Parkway, is now open and serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area.
The 60,000 square foot facility opened with 18 associates, and 84 Lumber plans to eventually grow the shop to 45 associates. In early 2021, the company will also be adding a Kval F4 interior door line to the shop.
“We’re excited to better serve our builders in the Dallas market by tripling our capacity through this new door shop,” said 84 Lumber Area Manager Nick Boyd. “84 Lumber has been investing in the Western Division over the last several years, and we look forward to continued growth in our area throughout 2021.”
2020 was a record-breaking year for 84 Lumber. The company hit $4 billion in sales for the first time in its 65-year history, and it opened new stores, door shops and component plants in various markets around the country. In 2021, 84 Lumber is continuing the momentum through even more expansion plans in new and existing markets.
The company’s new Dayton, Ohio store is set to open in early 2021, and the Richmond, Virginia component plant is currently under construction and will soon produce trusses to the surrounding area. Additionally, 84 Lumber is expanding into Stockton, California; Boise, Idaho; Detroit, Michigan; and more.
